Hey Darren! Hadn't seen this before -- wonderful! You know, it occurred to me: the album came out in 2001 and they were talking about the album coming out on September 18th -- do you know when this was done? From the atmosphere of the intros and the segment itself, which is rather cheery -- it must have happened not all that long before 9/11, right?

As a young girl I bought my first album, not because of Toni, but because of those big dark eyes on the back (inside ) cover. Yes she is very talented, but it was the Captain that initially got my attention.

don't judge unless you know the truth about them divorcing. they're only divorcing 'cause he can get better healthcare assistance if he is single. she still works & that being the case, if they stay married his chances of getting affordable assistance or free assistance are next to nil. otherwise, they'd be paying out the wah wah for insurance which they have done so far & are going broke. he can get better disability as well if he were single. that's how our awful system works. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~insider.
