There was a time when Toni Braxton was one of the hottest artists out there. She has been woefully underrated and undercelebrated.

This song and the whole album will always be very special to me.I had just left 6 months in rehab for cocaine addiction at the V.A. Hospital in Little Rock Arkansas. Caught a Greyhound Bus and moved to Seattle, wa in May 1994.The bus ride took 2 and one half days to arrive in Seattle. I listened to Toni Braxton all the way on my Walkman cassette player. Toni kept my spirits up and it was a positive move for me.

You see, I'm 45 and in 1993 I was 14 years old, and I was enjoying music, movies, TV Shows, and excelling in school! If you were born in the 80s and 90s you have great taste in music if you can groove to music that was before your time. But l'm a great example because I was born in 1979 and I like even 50s, 60s, and 70s music!

The voice to this beat is so damn good. The early 90s was a legit ass era for music. I mean we literally got to see pure talent come about after our parents era. Music and being talented meant something then. Does anybody even notice the voice cracks? Still amazing ! When she breaks it down on this track you can feel it.
