I'm so happy that Tonic have released 2 beautiful new 3D embossing folders and a gorgeous die set which you can use with them or independently!
The Leafy Lattice and Pretty Petal Trellis embossing folders can be used to make quick and easy cards but you can also make much more intricate and detailed cards too. Today's cards are mostly quick and easy ideas :)

Ruth, glad to see another one of your videos! Your cards are so pretty and seem pretty easy, too. It certainly helps to start with great ideas. Love the washi tape one not only quite pretty but it gives a reason to pull all my tape out and use it. Remember when it was such a big thing? i do and my collection proves it. 😄 I have heard of the water misting tip to help prevent card stock cracking in embossing folders but I have also seen other videos with other tricks. One involves using printer paper and making a sandwich, so to say, around the paper you want to emboss and then putting it in the folder and running it through your machine. The other uses a piece of vellum that you place directly on the paper you wish to emboss and putting it in your embossing folder and running it through your machine. They said you can use that same piece of vellum over and over again. Or I guess you can use that vellum on another card. I bet those ideas would work because you don't have a single sheet of paper getting all that pressure from the 3D folders. The original folders never gave me any trouble. Just my 2 cents and hope these tips can help someone. Hope you have a great day!
