You do inspire me, I’ve now ordered (using your link of course). I’m hoping to build five on top of each other as an advent calendar star.

Absolutely beautiful! I wonder if any of the pieces from the Star box from last year would fit. I can’t remember what it was called. I had lots of trouble getting the other to stay together but it had lots of verso dies that may work. I love the shaker you made, the candy stipe sequins are some of my favorites. 🤩🤩. It may have been in a TS magazine.

Thanks very much, Suzanne. I've just had a look for you but this one is quite a bit bigger and the little "point" pieces from the Advent star have different dimensions. They are narrower so don't fit well around the outside of this star. I love those sequins too! lol

So glad I found your channel! Your videos are so well done that they give me the confidence to purchase the dies and try the projects myself. Do you ever indicate the amount of card stock required so that adequate preparation/purchasing can be done before starting a make? If so, can you indicate whether it is UK or US sized? Thank you so much for your videos.

Thanks so much, Jill. I am so glad that you now have the confidence to create with the dies as that's exactly what I always set out to achieve. The process is not really difficult but I try to explain as I would understand myself and hope it makes sense to viewers too. I've never really counted the card as I'm a stickler for using up scraps and offcuts. I would never start with a full sheet of any card if I have a suitable offcut and therefore it would be difficult to gauge. I hope you continue to enjoy my videos. I have currently got a snake, of all things, loose in my craft room/garage and am doing my best, with the help of a rescue team, to locate and remove it so that I can craft again. I have no idea where it has come from and don't feel comfortable with it around

@@ruthhamilton8025 oh my goodness! I hope you find the wee beastie and he goes outside. Maybe he was looking for a warm spot as the weather changes.I understand your answer regarding scraps of paper, and that makes sense. Thank you for explaining, and yes, I’m looking forward to future videos.
