I got my Tangerine almost 6 years ago. It has gotten weekly use. I had trouble holding it still with large detailed dies until I noticed Jodie holds it on top near the wider end, problem solved. Thank you for your great videos. I got several religious stamps from Papertrey Ink after one of your videos. I make cards to give away & people seem to want cards of faith more than birthday or other types. Have a blessed day.

Thanks so much Ann! I'll be conscious of this when I use it. As for the stamps, I am so glad you were able to get some, and be sure to double check them as I did find at least one that was written inaccurately. I double check them now, but am so glad to have faith-based stamps. Scrapbook.com also sells them and they are great! Be blessed🫶🏼🤗

Do your dies leave shadow marks on the top (white) plate? Every die cutting machine a have leaves the shadow marks on the back (noncutting plate). If it doesn't, I will keep the tangerine, if it does then I have 3 machines already and will return it. Thanks in advance for an answer from anyone.

Hello Webdancer. Responses on this channel will always be from me, Raquel. I have used all sorts of die cutting machines, and they all leave shadow marks on the top plate. It's for this reason that it's advisable to use a sheet of copy paper to protect any papers that may have a sheen to it, should you want to cut a large piece. Alternately, you can cut small pieces of mirror card to avoid any transfer of these unwanted marks. I hope this helps, and if it can be of any value, I still would keep the tangerine if only because the plates do not crack nor do they warp if you use them as recommended. @@PaintsandGlitter One more question before I decide to keep it and sell the other large machine. Do you have firsthand knowledge that the plates don't warp or crack? If I keep this machine (it is expensive as you know, then I don't want to keep replacing plates like it do with my Sizzix Plus). Thank you again for your help.

Hello, I am passing along secondhand knowledge when I say it, as I am very well acquainted with the other members of the Tonic Studios design team, and all of them have assured me that their plates are several years old without warping. Having said that, storing the plates under the weight of the machine is what has been recommended to me. I will only pass along advice if I trust the source, and in this case I do. I happen to just have received the machine, so I cannot tell you it's from personal experience however. I hope this helps you make the decision that works best for you. Hugs~Raquel
