I am not a fan of most of the food she cooks as it does not meet my taste palette. Nonetheless, I have watched most of her videos not because of the food, but because of her aura and knowledge. Her show feels like a philosophy class in food than cooking itself. I can almost taste the food she cooks just from watching it.

This show makes me laugh. Every other sentence is “it’s so fast it’s so easy blah blah.” Meanwhile there is a a SINK FULL of dishes. Did I mention how many dishes she messes up. Does she know?? This is great! I have a question. Could you not use coconut oil instead of regular vegetable oil to stop the butter from burning (and for all the other purposes of vegetable oil)? That would be a much healthier option, but would it work to stop the butter from burning, etc.? I know coconut oil can take more heat than olive oil and honey (which really become toxic when cooked).

if altering the taste is not a concern then yes it can replace vegetable oil. coconut oil has a high smoke point
