If it had not been infiltrated, the finance bill would have passed. because the MPS thought that we were just noise that by 6.30, we WOULD BE CHASED FROM THE STREETS BY HIS POLICE FORCE. What in the world was he briefing us about if he doesn't even know the police that are working for him. we have clear evidence that police were brutal in handling these protests: yet he can look at us and tell us that the police did their best in handling the protests: and he can look at us and tell us that only 25 people died. I support that things must change. The government has too much authority and it is not delivering. Likewise, the Gen-z has too much force and it is contaminated by "violent" protesters (or criminals) - even though the movement has good intentions. A paradigm shift would be beneficial. Gen-z should send a small group of representatives to have a dialogue with the Kenyan President (Ruto). When things get to the point they are, the best thing is for both sides to communicate via the climate of mutual respect - whereby all are listening to each other. There needs to be a "RESPECTED" mediator such as former US president Barack Obama - someone who can instill a sense of great leadership and democratic principles. We need to tone down the frustrations and have a serious/educated dialogue. We must resolve issues through a "non-violent" approach. We don't want Kenya to be a duplicate of our dysfunctional neighbouring countries whose citizens run away and come to seek refuge in Kenya. We have a beautiful country and we need to preserve it (and not destroy it). Like President Obama stated in his campaign for presidency, "YES WE CAN", so can we. And Obama did a great job in leading America from recession as one of the best Presidents to ever rule America . Let us all promote peace and understanding during this difficult time. I am sure that President Ruto will accomplish the task of getting things done properly. But we also, must use the approach of presenting solutions to him and not just problems. I love our country and I love you all.
