India News: The Jodhpur district and sessions court on Wednesday rejected the bail plea of controversial godman Asaram Bapu, who has been arrested for the sexual assault of a minor who is the daughter of his disciples.
Represented by a battery of six lawyers, Asaram was sent to 14-day judicial custody on September 2. After his bail plea was turned down, his lawyers said they will move the Rajasthan High Court next. However, it is clear that Asaram will have to spend many more days in jail.

Core issue is NOT what Deepak Chaurasiya did. Core issue is, if Asumal (Asaram) is a rapist? You must understand that no Government/Police/Court is so stupid to act against such a high profile 'baba' with a decent following without a reason. Hear the girl's testimony and you can make out that poor child is not lying. Understand that if even after lawyers like Ram Jethmalani and Menon, Asumal could not get bail, it it is because charges are true!
