this is beautiful, I hope you find your own health, love, happiness, and light so you can get back on your feet better than before!
sometimes when I spend a little too long in my own head I fall into a sort of despair. that maybe im not doing enough to achieve my dreams. sometimes this fear consumes me, creeping throughout my body like a black tar, sticky and staining. its times like this i look to escape. these films always helped me get through those times by imagining a life that although may seem so mundane and simple, can have so much beauty and so much meaning. idk if this even made sense but tonight ill probably fall asleep to this, dreaming about that life, hoping i can make it come true even if its only when my eyes are closed

Ghibli movies are so beautiful, so beautiful, so beautiful, however much I say it it will never be enough. They. are. art. plain ans simple, every aspect of them. From the cinematography and stories to the music and artwork. I came to this video for the music but instead was enchanted by the beautiful artwork accompanying it. I've been looking at it form 30 minutes now and I still can't get enough of it.

sometimes when I'm sitting alone to my own thoughts, feeling myself slipping into despair, there is this little light that twinkles through all the muck and rain, calling out 'don't worry, I'm holding your hand.' I had a baby sister that was born and passed a few hours later--her name was Rose. The year she passed, I was born three days early, three years after her death on Feb 14th (Valentines Day). I always felt like I had always been missing my twin--a clone of myself which is why I've felt so lost in the world. But on rainy nights like these, I think of her and try to imagine what life might have been like if I had her laying next to me.....holding my hand.

Dominique B. Thank you for sharing your story. It made me cry. You are not alone in this world, even if you don't know it.
@citrus_sours22855 жыл бұрын
I had almost the same thing happen to me, about a year or so before my birth, a baby boy died in my mother's stomach before he could have been birthed. I didn't learn about him until I was about eleven, but even before that, I had always felt like there was something missing and I had _always_ wanted a big brother. Even asking for one for my birthdays and Christmas. After that I always spoke to him in the sky and send my worries and wishes to him, hoping that he might still be alive and my parents were lying to me that he died. But...I knew that wasn't happening. Anyways, I always felt weird about being sad over him because he never even made it into the world, and so many people had it so much worse. that being devastated over someone who was never alive felt like betrayal to the living. His name was Phoenix. A few years later after I learned about him I got to a new school and met my now good friend named Phoenix. :) Dominique B. your story made me tear up and feel valid about missing my brother, so thank you so much. I wish you the best of luck in your happiness

I don't know why but whenever I listen to this kind of music I feel so sad because we as humans are all the same yet we're not living in peace. People from all over the world can listen to this music and we all will feel the same feelings when we sit alone away from anything else we search something for our soul but we think that we are different because of our cultures, backgrounds and everything and some will think they are better from others but you know what eventually we're all the same so why we can't live in peace! it's heart breaking.

@pileofhagfish5 жыл бұрын
It's because of the animation style! He and the bottle are painted on separate clear sheets, also separate from the background, the paintings being swapped for different frames- a picture is taken when everything is in place. While the slide for the bottle didn't change, the sheet must have been bumped between a frame or two!

I think i noticed the desk wobbling a bit though-- i think that means that it was a choice based on physics, because I'm looking at my water bottle on my desk wobbling as I type this on my computer without touching my water bottle directly. It's amazing that, if it WAS on purpose, it's an incredible attention to detail.
