Thank you so much for your videos. The way you explain everything makes it very easy to understand.

Great video and info. A lot of people don’t know how critical diff setup is for a good handling car.

thank you for the great video and information you have shared to us. I would like to ask a question about the change of the diff oil. Approximately after how many batteries in mod class the diff oil is starting to lose viscosity so it is better to replace it ? just a feel from your experience because I know that there are several factors to take into consideration. Thanks in advance !!!

Thanks for your great information as usual. Do you have a video on the effects running the diffs in the high or low position in the bulk heads has on the cars handling/performance? Cheers Shane

Also maintain the same amount of diff oil by using a small scale to fill the diff. 1.3 grams or whatever the kit manual suggests.

Is weight taken into consideration when choosing an oil for the rear diff? I'm asking because I'm driving the VBC Ghost VTA kit on an outdoor parking lot that has imo low-medium grip with bumps. I found that when I used 3k mugen diff oil I was getting a loose rear out of corners and when the 4k was used it was more manageable. I was told that on a track like what I drive on the lower the oil strength the better it should be as others are using 2k-3k oil but their kits are of better quality and lighter. So with that can a kit's weight be also taken into consideration when choosing the desired oil and not simply the condition of the track?

We do not think about the weight of the car in 1:10 scale touring as we have to run at a minimum weight of 1320g which everybody is doing. So we dont have to think about big weight differences at all!
@pedmar00723 жыл бұрын
@@patrickbeckrc2113 ok I understand that reference to 1320g . How would you advise then on guys with heavier kits, let's say nearer to 1400g. Would you take that weight into consideration? As in most case not all are using the latest and greatest kits.

The diff action that results from 3k or 4k will be car specific due to differences in how the gear differential is constructed between manufacturers. The diff action from 2k-3k in one car type could translate to 3-4k from another manufacturer. It is really car specific.

Damn, touring cars use SPOOLS in THE FRONT? Do they steer too fast otherwise or something?
