Question why after hitting a quad jackpot would you keep feeding same machine and same game ?

The odds of hitting something on a VP machine never change. So you've got the exact same odds of hitting quads the hand after you hit quads as you did the hand before you hit quads. On a side note, (and this has nothing to do with stats or logic) but machines that are playing well, seem to continue to play well and machines that not seem to continue to not. All of that said, we will often change machines after a few hits, but it's more in our heads than reality. Steve

Just a quick clarification: it depends on the game, the pay table and the exact 3 to the royal that are dealt (with a paying pair). Sometimes the right play is holding the paying pair and sometimes holding the 3 to the royal is the right play. As an example, if dealt KQJ to the royal and a pair of kings (in a 9/6 DDB game), holding the royal draw would be the right play. If dealt KQ10 to the royal and a pair of kings (in a 9/6 DDB game). Holding the kings would be the correct play. Both scenarios are close, but if you aspire to play as perfectly as possible, these are the correct plays. Hope this helps. Steve
