I asked my GP about tonsil stones, she didnt even know what they are until I explained how they look then she tells me to go to my dentist and check my teeth. I told her this usse has been going on for years and the bad breath is definitely because of my tonsil stones not teeth as never has my dentist noticed anything wrong with my teeth. She just shrugs it off and insists to just got dentist. I asked her about this and she suggest agaisnt it saying it would cause bleeding and complications. I'm so confused on what to believe. Has anyone done it in London and can tell me about it? Also how do I make the NHS pay for it if I am unable to do so myself.

I have had them since I was 6 and now I am 60 ...No one ever could help me with them ...I went to Dentist and Ent doctors by then I was older and they scare me to death regarding the chance of bleeding to death . This doctor on this video is so great ..I wish I could go to him ...because I have had tonsil stones I have had earaches and things ..and now I have hashimotos thyroid ...I know it came from that ..( it is when your antibodies start attacking your thyroid and start destroying other things...) it is an autoimmune disease and I know it came from strep and tonsil stones...I always get mine out by myself with a gum squirter or a water pick ..but sometimes the water pick is too strong and makes them bleed and I don't want to do my own tonsillectomy ...yikes....then I gargle or my dentist told me of a solution for teeth and gums 1/3 hydrogen peroxide 1/3 water and 1/3 mouthwash the peroxide helps to bubble them out ...I don't know if it is good for you but for me it is better than having the tonsil stones in there ..they actually make me sick ...like achy through my body . I wish someone could help us ..

Im in all likelyhood as soon as funds allow going to be arranging a visit for the "lunchtime" procedure. Persistent use of Antibiotics for recurrent tonsillitis is no way to live.
