He fought against Vulture, who, while using alien tech to power his inventions, was still using what was basically human technology. And then he shows up and finds out some aliens from space are trying to steal a wizard's necklace. That's KIND of weird, given what he's been through. He might have been distracted by the fight but had it been me, I would have at least said 'Wait, WHAT?'
