And now everything recently; reverie, awakening, illusion, untitled in g# minor and cannon in d minor. You are an amazing talent. To be 100% candid, my 6 month old falls asleep to a playlist with all of those songs and more of yours. Hope you don’t mind I made it my ringtone! Screen recorded it, saved the audio, imported into garage band, saved as a ringtone and boom it is now officially my ringtone. Many steps but worth it! Edit: that is how to do it for an iPhone. To save the audio from the screen record, you have to create a custom shortcut in the Shortcuts app. I watched a KZbin video to help me: "How to Convert Video to Audio - Shortcuts iPhone App Tutorial" by Chris Bassett... (I'd link it but it gets deleted as spam)

The way it returns to the halting quality of the original tune and so finally loses momentum, and then the ambiguous ending that doesn’t ‘resolve’ to the tonic, which seems to suitable for a phone sound that simply circles round and round, potentially forever…

This is something VERY unique. It takes on a life and personality of it's own in a very grand way. I can see people making movie montages with this working out hard, running fast, bettering themselves because they simply wake up to the alarm sound. I’m pretty much the same way, actually! I can simply listen to a song, and after experimenting a bit, I can find the right notes and start playing it. Then I just practice it over and over again until I can play it from memory. It’s very fun! Some people are just naturally good at deciphering sheet music on the fly, but I’m not one of them, so it’s easier for me to leave the sheets out of the equation entirely and let my ears do the work for me.
