That Dianabol cycle he described is the exact cycle thousands of lifters and bodybuilders would regularly follow for years. Roids were not illegal back in those days and it was relatively safe. Where people went wrong was not coming off the cycle or popping 10 or 12 pills at a time.

those of you that dont believe him about his steroid usage, the guy clearly had great genetics. Guys like arnold took primarily dbol as well and cycled off every year. It can be done. Frank zane said in his book the standard dosage from his era was 1cc of primo a week (200mg) and 3-4 5mg dbols pers day. Thats it. Dianabol is very powerful. In my personal usage, i gained more off of 50 mg of dbol per day than I did off of 1 gram of test and 500 mg deca, or any other variation of injectables.

Not buying his "I only took D-Bol" story. It is a 5 - 20 mg pill (although very effective). You do NOT become Mr. USA and CERTAINLY NOT Mr. Universe from D-Bol only, especially in the 70's - 80's. Arnold was taking upwards of 100 mg a day plus other things. You WILL NEVER reach those competitive levels on D-Bol only.
