"If you're just hitting balls around and not being rewarded or punished by playing someone ($), it will make it harder for you to be hungry to play better." T-Rex...Valuable words in that quote. Like T-Rex says, "BET SOMETHING!" 💯

Hi Tony. Sure you don’t remember me but we played a 9 ball tournament at Hard Times in Sacramento almost 20 years ago. I was on the hill first and lost the match. I’ve played with Amar in SFO and California Billiards in Cupertino. I was shocked to read Amar passed away (RIP) and glad I have good memories of him. Congrats on your achievements buddy.

Growing up in St Louis, Missouri, I was lucky the pool scene war rich with heritage. The story's flew around as fast as the road players coming in and out on their way to a tournament. The action was unrelenting at times and if you did not have money to bet some nights, you could not shoot. Was a fun time, though I never fell into the gambling side as much as others. I made sure I had the money to pay for table time, and gas to get around was about it. Anyway, would love for you to dive deeper on one pocket and brake down strategies a little more in depth. Thanks

Have you ever been to the Philippines to play pool? It’s a great place to learn to play the rotation games. There is certainly plenty of action here.

Pretty sure a lot of mid range players don't gamble anymore because the cost of living is so much higher than it used to be. Not many people have the expendable income to gamble even $100 everytime you go out n shoot

In my era . guys that could not run a rack of 9 ball 1 in 50 tries , sometimes played a 200 dollar set. 20 years later, if you robbed everybody in the poolroom you could not end up with 200. You have certainly raised the bar at One Pocket sir. Thank you.
