Best UK v UK battle I've seen in god knows how long? Shox and Tony both on top of their game, landing punch after punch! What a battle! Shox takes the first, Tony takes the third...not comfortable in giving the second to either of them. Very even second rounds! Props to Danny Jaqq for putting that battle together!

In my view, Tony is about as close to perfection as you'll find in battle rap. The bloke just has everything: bars, delivery, performance, humour, charisma and intelligence. He has so many strings to his bow that even when somebody matches him for bars and delivery - as Shox did here, to his credit - it's still not enough to beat him. He is a true master of his craft. Experience goes a long way but it's mostly testament to Tony as a writer and a performer. Alright, a 5-0 decision definitely gives off the wrong impression of what went down, but for me, it's hard to fault the actual decision itself. Beyond that, though, it's certainly one of the best and most entertaining battles on the channel; not only because of the bars, but because there was no bullshit or ego involved - just a lot of respect, and it's a breath of fresh air. There was a friendly vibe, and genuine respect makes for a much better watch than forced hostility in a battle.

To be honest I'm a fan of both these rappers and their rounds were fire. Gave the first round to shox then the 2nd round a draw and the 3rd to Tony D. I could not decide a winner. This is the best opinion I've seen on the winner, I couldn't agree more. Shox was bananas, and clearly took the 1st round....the 2nd they both were fire. The 3rd round, Tony d clearly won in my opinion, every bar from him was great material. I think what's tough, is in judges minds the last round really matters most because it's always the last thing you remember, and going last is always an advantage because you have the last say (and it's the last thing that is fresh in judges minds). I couldn't fault anyone for saying 2-1 either battler, with the 2nd round being the debated preference round, however 5-0 from the judges is just terrible.
