I grew up in Chicago and attended most Tejano dances during the 70's. No artist touched my life more than Tony De La Rosa. His music was an inspiration. His music has been with me during my ups and downs. Forever live Tony De La Rosa...My Idol.

Joe Michael. This joe mejia II. My dad joe mejia jr. if you remember was your dads bass player from 1961 thru 1967. He has alot of stories. I played him pajarito negro and my dad said that was him on bass. I knew Ramon Medina and I asked if that was him on bajo and my dad said yes. My dad said they did alot of recordings. I'm trying to track down and creating a play list of all his tony recordings. It's been very interesting listening to 60's and 70's recordings. Hey my dad misses Tony very much. He asked about Adan and your other uncle Alfredo. I have pictures of the hold band. Hope you get to read this. Signed joe mejia
