Hmmmm I wouldn't bet on that. You're sinning against the GOD of Israel by worshipping HIS creation. If scripture clearly states that Jesus was a created being what leads you to believe that he is greater than the ONE who created him? Jesus cried out to HIM to save him...why do you think he then has the ability to save you when he could not save himself? Do you really think Jesus will deliver you from the wrath of the GOD of Israel? It is the GOD of Israel who clearly stated, "Before the day was I am HE; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?" (Isaiah 43:13, kjv). Thank you pastor Tony Evans for this message. This past year, my mom went through the same thing as your dear wife. She went in for a stomach ache, and found out she had cancer. She was planning on retiring in 2019. She had plans to spend more time with family and grandkids. She even considered working part time as a camp nurse at a Christian Bible camp. What started as a year with plans for the future, changed quickly as her diagnosis changed to a prognosis. She had a few ups and downs, but ultimately things turned difficult in the physical realm. She passed away just in December of 2019. But in the days leading up to it, I actually found some of your sermons and was greatly encouraged. I was able to speak encouraging words to my mom, who loved Jesus deeply already. The sermons encouraged me as well and gave me the ability to look at the bigger picture of what was happening here. It gave me a heavenly perspective that I needed at that time. Thank you for that. I had no idea the struggles your family was going through during this time as well. I am thankful to hear of a life well lived and for the reward that awaited your wife as she made her way home. Your strength in this time is a powerful testimony to your faith in God. I am sure your wife will be proud of your continued commitment to the message Jesus has given you. I am praying that God be with you and He keeps you in His arms as you continue in the game, even without your wife at your side. War is not always easy, and sometimes we take losses along the way, but be encouraged. Our fight is not in vain, I looked ahead in the book. Guess what, our side wins the victory. And your dedication to continue the fight makes that victory that much better when it happens. Thank you for this message and I will continue to pray that your family is blessed in your ministry. Jesus loves you so much and just keep on that path. One day, you'll be embraced in His arms and He will say "well done".

It's 5:00 am on Sunday morning in California (2-2-2020) and I just finished watching this on TBN. I did not know about the passing of Dr. Lois Irene Evans. I usually take notes on Dr. Evans sermons, but not today. I sit here quietly by myself soaking in every word of this message. It speaks volumes to my soul. I need to up my game for Christ and I will. I'm very sad, yet I'm happy.

Tony’s sermon s have helped me heal . Broken since the day I lost my husband to Covid. July twelve weeks later let my oldest son live in my home that was Dept free 30 years married 42 years he told me to leave my home . Grieving and betrayal. Went to live with my other only son . He told me to leave also no where to go . A friend took me in . Because I tried to get my home back I’m forbidden to see my grand children and it’s been a year now since my children ace spoken to me . A widows heart of betrayal from her children but Christ alone has been my strength .

I'd completely lost my faith and begun to feel like God isn't real, Even though I've FELT his presence many times. I woke up from a horrible dream tonight, and this video popped up. My grandparents used to play Dr Evans in our home, on the radio when I was a child. My earliest memories of him, has to be about 4 years old. (I could be wrong, but I know I was very young) I'm almost 44. So, I've known of him and sister Evsns practically my whole life. I had stopped praying a few weeks ago and had decided to go back to living like the rest of the world, because I was convinced that GOD ISN'T REAL. Thank you Dr Evan's for THIS sermon. I'm still not sure what I believe and why God KEEPS allowing such horrible trials in my life, but I just prayed for the first time in weeks. Sigh. I dont know what else to do, but I'll just continue to take it one day at a time. PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS!😥🙏

I needed to hear this sermon. My wife just passed the day before Thanksgiving, 2022. Because of a Christian nurse who had worked in hospice, I was able to realize that her death was the first day of celebration in heaven for her also! Though sad, I was joyful. On that Thanksgiving I had something to be so thankful for that I could not mourn. My sweet Betsy was sitting in the presence of God. And later as Christmas came and I remembered why we celebrate Christmas, I thought, "She is with the One we sing about". I could not mourn, but joy filled my heart. What a blessing. And her fingerprints are all over my life and many others too. By the grace of God I will stay in this good fight until my name is called up yonder. Thank you again, Brother Evans.

This sermon reminds me of a dream that I had of my late sister, Evangelist Rita Daniels-Brown; in the dream, she came to me to appeal to me " to let her go". I told her that I refused to, but I now understand, in God's Great Wisdom, the importance of " letting go". God revealed that He cannot bring forth future blessings if we refuse to let go of the old. I thank You, Father God, for Your Great Wisdom!! This sermon also reminds me of my beautiful late daughter, Farrah Hines; my family, too, endured the heartbreaking process of the lengthy illness & eventual passing of my beloved daughter. We are all too familiar with this type of pain, loss & grief; Pastor Evans, you & your family are in my prayers & thoughts for Your Godly peace, comfort & acceptance of your loved one's passing.
