@BitterSweetUnfolding6 жыл бұрын
Dev Patel say what you like, but his training and conditioning his shins like a "tard" is what contributed to his success of going on a long undefeated streak and becoming a lightweight champ. Dudes a monster plain and simple and his way of training definitely has something to do with it..
@BitterSweetUnfolding6 жыл бұрын
st V not the ONLY reason but its one of the reasons yes. Dude can take mad leg kicks and also give good kicks as well. Conditioning his shins allows for him to give way harder kicks and increase his pain tolerance. Common sense. Is it risky to slam your shin into a steel pipe, probably lmao but if he feels he can do it and handle it then so be it. His inury wasnt a direct result from kicking steel pipes.. he had a "freak accident" on the studio set or something. He has been kicking them pipes and other hard things for his whole life im assuming soo... no wonder hes so damn durable.
@MrMinidude1236 жыл бұрын

He is definitely good despite the training, not because of it. I’m sure it helps somewhat with mental toughness and strength but I’m surprised he hasn’t had more crazy injuries.

You gotta have your back straight aligned with your neck. Shoulders back. Bending at your knees and hips and the same time squatting. Round your back like that is fucking horrible.
@aaronl18186 жыл бұрын
Deadlift should be done using your glutes back and shoulders and you should not be arching your back like that he’s fucked

0:40 - That trapbar deadlift should be on an Infinite Elgintensity video. Edit-but he's doing deadlifts with a straight back later in the video... I guess someone told him he was on a trip to snap city!

A lot of the stuff he’s doing is gonna kill his body man. Some of it is good, functional type workouts, but there’s gotta be a better way of accomplishing the same goal without all the risk.
