Absolutely. He had chandler in danger… he stood toe to toe with GAETHJE!! With that ASSAULT! Bobby Lee? He said in the interview himself.. and I agree with him… he got creative(which has been his trademark), and it went wrong… and he got himself into a serious situation. Anyone who studies enough bjj will know that can happen… you try to get creative and it backfires. Olivera was just a savage… and couldn’t make him tap from that armbar…of course Father Time is undefeated…. But with a few tweaks, Tony could fight anyone on any given night.

I love Tony Ferguson. He’s the reason why I watch the UFC. This dude has absolutely lost his mind. The definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Since the loss to Charles all we’ve heard is “I’ve finally gone back to my old team. I’ve gotten rid of the people in my that were trying to bring me down. I’ve started looking out for me and not worrying so much around those and me and putting myself first”. He literally says the same thing, verbatim, without missing a single beat. He’s done this for almost 3 full years and 4 more losses. That in itself is terrifying. You lost to Bobby Green because the fight ahead of you ended “in like a minute” so you didn’t have time to review things with your coach in the locker room? Fights last like 10-15 minutes. He even says this. How about getting all that work in during camp where you have months? The really scary time will come when (inevitably) UFC cuts him. ONE won’t sign him. Bellator likely can’t afford him. That leaves PFL. I’m sure they’d love to unleash Tony on one of their earlier PPV cards and Ngannou cards. If you’re a Tony fan or “supporter” or a friend, relative or loved one then that thought should terrify you more than anything.

@@RikoRey92he’s 4 months shy of 40 years old. 26 wins 9 losses, soon to be 10 losses. 6 losses in a row. About to be 7 in a row. Man’s washed. Hasn’t been a decent fighter since 2019 when he beat an already washed retiring Cerrone. Before that was 2018 when he beat Anthony Pettis who also doesn’t fight in the ufc or even mma anymore. Before that was Kevin Lee who also got a bunch of losses and was washed at the time. So technically Tony hasn’t been relevant since 2016. No GOAT, not even close, can’t even see GOAT status where he stands. I don’t see a legend I see a washed weird fighter who had a few good wins and put on a show for fans and then went on a losing streak.

28:36 Is he really blaming his wrestling in the Bobby Green fight on instead of having the final 15-20 minutes to warmup, the fight finished fast so he only got 5-10 minutes and couldn't do a couple drills? 🤔 Like a couple minutes of drills is what would activate his skill, but he didn't have a chance to activate it. Haha. 5 hours wouldn't have mattered. It's the work throughout camp that contributes to that.

Win, lose, or draw Tony will always be an OG and a UFC HoF'er imo. I'll NEVER forget the time during that 12 fight win streak, when Tony was the freaking Boogeyman of the entire UFC. Dude will always be a legend, but im still hoping he smashes Paddy good...... dont forget that power is always the last thing to go and Paddy gets hit, alot. Plus grappling I think Paddy is at a disadvantage, so that means its f*cking TONY TIME!!! 🥷😎✌️

Tony just got finished by submission from Bobby green, a guy with tons of UFC fights and two finishes in that entire run, one of them was Ferguson. I’m not so sure he has a grappling advantage over Paddy.
