Great band! Nothing without Tony Hadley, Gary Kemp I know played with Nick Mason on The Saucerful Of Secrets Tour great band he needs to come back man come on Tony. Wish they would come to Pittsburgh. Man these guys rocked it out! I love this band so much. Gold is like my theme song I want to play at a Pittverse Launch Party plus a future article on Spandau Ballet. I wanted to play it for some lovely ladies from vintage cinema and modeling that are gone but not forgotten and are gold and bound to return!

He did not write the songs. Gary Kemp is the sole credited songwriter on Spandau Ballet hits, but the three who are suing him claim there was an agreement to share the royalties.

Gary can't stop him performing the SB songs, however, he can prevent them from being broadcast. He hopes for SB to reform in the future, but with that sort of attitude I would personally in Tony's position, tell him where to stick it.

Let’s be honest Spandau Ballet is a band that belongs to the 80's. That short return was a consequence of nostalgia and not their new creativity. The result was that they did nothing noticeable when they returned. In about 10 years, they will be known for a couple of singles from the 80's, and that's it. I personally liked them until 86-87. The number of views on this video says all about the interest in them.

Maybe in your world. Personally, I think Tony H is currently one of the best singers on the planet and I applaud him for doing his own thing. I like his own songs anyway; Gary Kemp's attempts at integrating poetic influences really sailed pretty far out there.
