Tony Hatch and His Orchestra - Perfidia Hustle

Tony Hatch (best known for his collaboration with Petula Clark in the sixties (he wrote all the hits)) takes the classic melody "Perfidia" and adds some hustle flavour to it. As a result we can listen to a skillfully arranged and refreshing version of this well known evergreen. From the 1976 album "Love sounds" here's Tony Hatch and His Orchestra with the "Perfidia Hustle" - happy listening !

....in actual fact he recorded a whole slew of LP's under his own name as well as 'library' session work and produced such singers as Petula Clark amongst others!

Well, Tony Hatch and Jacqueline Trent co-wrote many of the big hits of Petula Clark, from Downtown on down. Also, they were married. So Tony Hatch was very much associated with Jackie Trent.

@hcrun Yes indeed, they recorded some albums together. Nevertheless, Tony Hatch also recorded some albums under his own name as "Tony Hatch & His Orchestra" :-)
