I love this game, its soundtrack and storyline. I loved it when it came out in 2005, I played in on PS2 , in that very same year I started skateboarding also and I was into punk too, I can't believe it's been 19 years ago, Time flies. I am still a skateboarder and still into punk music. I missed playing with this game and so a year ago I bought from Ebay a second hand PS2 and the entire series that came out on PS and PS2 ,but mainly just to play with American Wasteland, and to enjoy and love American Wasteland once again, . My favorite skateboard game ever and my favorite of the Tony Hawk franchise.

I’m pretty sure by the look of the character and what he does with the Launcher towards the construction workers, it’s a homage to the 1993 American Crime film called “Falling Down” which features the the protagonist/antagonist rampage through a city after a series of events. The character played by Michael Douglas looks awfully similar facially and how he is dressed. Could be a hidden reference ;)
