Pro Skater series and Underground series was peak. After Wasteland released the quality of Tony Hawk games did start to decline but Skate revived the genre of great skating games again. Skate was revolutionary with its mechanics.

THPS 1 and 2 were only released on PS1, Dreamcast and N64. Xbox got Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X which was both games with extra content when the console released in 2001. The PS2 got the first THPS release in 2001 with THPS 3.
