Tony Iommi's adaptability to the modern sounds of the 90s and 2000s is what sets him apart from other musicians of his generation. He was the architect of Black Sabbath's sound from the beginning. Without him, there would be no Black Sabbath or Heavy Metal for that matter. Singers come and singers go, but there is only one Tony Iommi.

While other classic artists of Tony's generation were going stale, this dude had his ear to the ground, taking in the most innovative styles of the 90s. In this song alone we can hear how he was tuned in to industrial, grunge, and trip-hop

Yep, I love his playing on this album ( well... in general). He should've done this in the 80s when Ozzy fucked off to do his solo career.

Records are always put together with the best song batting cleanup, they put them together like A baseball lineup. I've heard this from a dozen different bands. Next time you listen to your favorite album always pay attention to the first five songs, especially the fourth one.

@@jeremyjames1659 why would you think Grohl would do that? He's never used electronic drums in a single song he's ever done in his own bands. Tony Iommi is in charge of all the music from this album as well
