It was 71, I saw YES open for Tull in Hampton NH, the show was oversold and there was a riot, the National Guard was called out. It was like nothing I had ever heard before, became a huge fan.

Tony Kaye's Hammond playing on the early Yes albums is epic.

Really well done and a testament to you Sean that he remained engaged and answered some random questions without ever hinting that he had something else to do. His words were carefully chosen and it made it a little slow but he never acted as though he was not interested. One of my favorite Tony moments is the end of A Venture, as you rarely hear him cut loose on piano. He mentioned playing blues piano a few times so I’m sure he works on that aspect of his playing. Great recollections of BG and Talk. Enjoyable!

Interesting hearing some of the "early" stories.. Curious what thoughts he might have re: the boxset of early releases that is supposedly coming to market soon.. He mentioned America was in the set long before Howe came on the scene, which was news to me.. I'd love to hear Peter's take on that song.

Is there any more news on the two soundboard recordings from Bowie's Station to Station Tour (New York and Paris) that Tony found a while back?

The record company Tony forgot about was Cinema Records (a subsidiary of Capitol)Pete Bardens of Camel released his 3rd solo album,Seen One Earth in 1987. That’s when I saw the add for Tony Kaye but it never came.
