17:58 this is spot on and the major reason the women's division in AEW has always been flawed. Hikaru Shida and her trajectory in the company is a perfect example of how favoritism from the boss towards less deserving wrestlers can ruin the stars the fans are genuinely behind. Shida was always more available for AEW bookings than common perception thinks, but despite the weeks and months on end shes available, Khan never uses her And regardless what you think of Britt, Toni or Mariah (Khan's current favorites), the main reason they were as ahead as they are in the division is because they had the full backing of the corporate machine because they had the full backing of Khan. Had Khan not spent as much energy and effort booking them as strongly as he did, theyd be in the same position as all the other forgotten talent who are t used or dont get good pushes

My prediction of Wrestlemania/RR/Summer Slam sites in the US within the next 5-10 years: New Orleans, Houston, Indianapolis, Nashville, Arlington. Interestingly, Arlington was rumored to host 2029 College Football Playoff finals, but that game was moved to Tampa; Dallas claimed "prior commitments" as reason for dropping bid for 2029 CFP finals. Makes me wonder if Arlington's AT&T Stadium could be in line for, at least, a Wrestlemania/Royal Rumble package in the future, since that CFP move might lead to Royal Rumble in 2029. (As someone who works at Houston's NRG Stadium, I'm a tad biased, but I'd love to see one of the Big Three WWE PLEs come to NRG Stadium sometime after 2027.)

Tony has made a lot of mistakes, but I don't place all the blame on him. In 2019, Jim Cornette talked about why he refused a contract offer from Tony Khan. Cornette said that the primary reason he did not sign was the fact that the Young Bucks were named EVPs. Cornette said that they would divide the locker room and cause chaos backstage. He said that they would use AEW to promote themselves and their friends, and that AEW would become PWG with a budget. So far, every single prediction Cornette made about AEW in 2019 has happened exactly like he said it would, based on his prior experience with the Bucks. Tony is a mark. He is relying on the people around him to guide him. The Bucks are his EVPs. Currently, all of the top spots in AEW are occupied by known friends and associates of the Bucks. Tony is not smart enough to the business to recognize what the Bucks are doing. They are working him just like they worked Uncle Dave.

Remember when AEW debuted five years ago? Everyone was so excited. WWE was on it's heels, and it looked like this new revolution was coming. Five years later, WWE is as hot as it has been in recent years, and AEW is in shambles. It looks like AEW is going to join WCW, ECW, UWF and countless others in the Hall of Shame. It's only a matter of time before another one bites the dust.

I don't blame Deonna Purrazzo for voicing her frustration with how she was booked. TK really doesn't know how to book his women's division. He's not putting much effort, it's like he hates women's wrestling. It's probably he doesn't like the way Deonna wrestles, and probably don't like her matches. So yes, he did dropped the ball on Deonna, and the other women on AEW roster.
