2:08 is the best guitar solo I've ever heard in ny life!

I've loved this since the date of release, in 1987... I've never changed my mind... Tony was already fantastic by then, and he much progressed since then on guitar. Awesome drummers too on this album, Deen Castronovo and Atma Anur. Plus the production was very good, very clear... even though the typical "Mike-Varney-pounding-drum-sound" is a bit dated now. (but I love it still ! ^_^ )

Me too, Marc. I knew this was special from first listen. Wow. I still love it today! (2022 and beyond!)

@Adrian Mastro: Gilbert??? Moore? Ok I can see that, but Tony is on another planet, he is actually creating here not just rehashing some riffs/licks

Er, Dio's a singer... U thinking of Ritchie Blackmore (Rainbow), Tony Iommi (Sabbath) or Vivian Campbell (Dio solo)? I mean they're all awesome, but personally I'd go for Blackmore, who of course was also in Deep Purple
