I've loved this since the date of release, in 1987... I've never changed my mind... Tony was already fantastic by then, and he much progressed since then on guitar. Awesome drummers too on this album, Deen Castronovo and Atma Anur. Plus the production was very good, very clear... even though the typical "Mike-Varney-pounding-drum-sound" is a bit dated now. (but I love it still ! ^_^ )

Er, Dio's a singer... U thinking of Ritchie Blackmore (Rainbow), Tony Iommi (Sabbath) or Vivian Campbell (Dio solo)? I mean they're all awesome, but personally I'd go for Blackmore, who of course was also in Deep Purple
