One of my all-time favourites - it does a deep dive into family values and dynamics, and how love manifests in so many ways. I love the scene (among many) where Danny confesses to Lorna about his past - that should have won River the Oscar. How tragically ironic that Danny escaped to his freedom and future life, while River did not survive.

Finally this movie came on TV. I taped it and watch it over and over and each time I cry like a baby. The music is wonderfully played and I am learning how to play it on the piano. So very sad that we don't have River anymore, he was so talented. Thank you KZbin.
