Probably because a quarter of the ground has already left by the 82nd minute. Completely saps the energy from the team performance and kills our momentum at the end of matches every week. Delighted with the win but our hawthorns crowd is shambolic these days. People leaving on 80 minutes deserve to never witness moments like this

@@Badger69-96 this is precisely why I cancelled my season ticket 5 or 6 years ago. I was in the Brummie, and people around me were more interested in berating players (Sam Johnstone got so much abuse it was horrendous) and moaning than supporting the team. You could hear a pin drop all game aside from the customary Lords My Shepherd after a goal. On two occasions I had someone tell me to "shut up and sit down" when I tried starting a song to get the atmosphere going. People would start leaving at the 75th minute, and by the 85th there would be fans pouring out regardless of the scoreline. It's awful. I've not been back since, and frankly don't want to. The hawthorns fanbase is poor and not something that resonates with me any more. Love the Albion to death, but I can't stand the (home) fans.

Summary -1) these games CC wouldn't win....Mowbray will try win and take more 3s than losses whereas CC thought 'dont lose' and we.slid down the table getting draws. 2) Bartley getting sent off is a godsend....he's not good enough. 3) the win percentage with Mowatt starting is freaky compared to when he doesn't start.....DONT take him off!!!! 4) CC would have had Armstrong on the bench and played Ashanti ahead of him....what a joke CC was playing Ashanti (a bulldozing winger) up front.
