Tony and I thank you so very much for this. We also had the best time hanging out with Norman there on his camping rig. He had us rolling on the floor laughing about his camping adventures in Death Valley, and said he was going back to camp as long as possible when they were finished.

Thank you for your very kind words. Best to Tony, too. Seen NB perform for decades in many partnerships and the R&B CD is still one of my all-time favorites. From a great time period of a few years of spectacular recordings that also brought Mike Auldridge's Treasures Untold (also with TR). Stay tuned - I have more TR video coming from that day at Grass Valley. You may already have seen the video of Tony Rice Unit I posted with Jerry Douglas from that day. More coming. There's also a short clip of Norman and Nancy. Just wish I'd had more tape and more batteries :)

Tell All that this performance was from the California's Midsummer Bluegrass Music Festival in 1990, Not the CBA Father's Day Festival. Thanks

Thank you. Archie Fisher's "The Shipyard Apprentice" is one of those great songs that fits these two great players perfectly. Tell your friends.

Thank you. The R&B CD has always been one of my favorites. Glad you and so many others like them and that I had the camera to shoot this stuff. Happy to get them out of the vault where they've been stored away for 30 years. Please subscribe to the channel and you'll encounter more as they come up. Tell your friends, too.
