what would musicians, engineers, husbands, wives do today if in that situation? they would probably tried to save themselves. that era with the expectation of duty, sacrifice, giving up your life for something died during WWI. Which is not to say that there haven't been endless examples of heroism in the time since, but that behavior has become the the exception not the default.

Indeed. It's very sad what's become of this world.

People have more to lose these days to be fair though it is definitely a much more selfish society. For example witnessing an accident it's more likely instead of helping many would pull out their phones to get clicks.

While I respect the viewpoints, here we all are watching this,so I cannot bring myself to criticize the teams.

Your story of the Titanic is finished. It is not necessarily complete but then no story of the Titanic will be complete even when all that is left of it is an iron ore deposit on the sea floor. R.I.P. TITANIC.

Jesus isn’t going to rape you in your dreams for watching this, history is important, it’s what definite us. Exploring such a monumental moment in history is homage to those who died, not disrespecting them. You don’t cry over watching war films I bet.

I cant imagine any such thing! After so long of being alone down there I can only imagine that they were watching with great interest, amazed at the technology that wasn't even in a Jules Verne novel when they were alive and above the waves! I can imagine them waving, and smiling at the men inside those submersibles, intrigued by their courage in braving such depths in so small a craft when their own, so large and opulent, didnt survive!

If he wants to know what it would be like to be trapped, and enduring a slow agonising death with no hope of rescue, he should try watching this video..

Shouldn't have landed on the wreck at all

Yes, actually they should have, and thankfully did! In a short while that whole ship is going to collapse and all of the inside footage will be all that's left of her! Damn shame, really! We should be saving as much as we can from her, for history and remembrance as well as research on the many mysteries that still remain! No one is disrespecting the Captain, crew or passengers who died on her only voyage, but trying to find out the answers to those questions and preserve what they can of her!

@@kellymeggison9418 its not a person its not a she but an object made of steel and speaking as a family member of a relative of one of the victims it has been desicrated

Paul Howell, that's your opinion, I dont find that to be factual at all! No one has been disrespectful about this in any way, and its still just as interesting today as it was in 1912! Bringing up items from onboard or on the sea floor is hardly desicration, and the outstanding footage gained from the expeditions has answered a great many questions!

@@kellymeggison9418 did you have a family member die on that ship ?? if not how can you even begin to understand how many of the families feel about this you cannot and will never did you know that personal items of the victims where auctioned off when they should of been returned to their loved ones !!! your comment is insensitive as is your viewpoint

Paul Howell, but it's my viewpoint, if you dont like it then dont read it! I'm not trying to be insensitive about anything, I just feel it's a waste to let it rot on the bottom of the ocean!
