Whenever you see a situation one way and someone brings up how it could be different from what you think and you say "you know what, I didn't see it that way" instead of trying to force the narrative from your own viewpoint, that shows maturity and proper conversation etiquette, so I commend Tony on that. I also commend Pierre for bringing up the possible viewpoint instead of just agreeing with narrative while also saying that he can't say for sure, opening the conversation of more possible scenarios. It's easy to make blanket statements based on what you "see". At that time, Chris Rock was backstage and the only reason you saw what you saw w/ Tyler and Denzel was because the cameras were on Will at the time. You never knew if they also had a word with Chris out of sight of the cameras. The cameras don't usually film backstage anyway...

Denzel and SLJ knew Will just fucked up in a major way even though Chris let that fool breathe. We all know Chris could have ended Will's shit quick, fast, and in a hurry. His Hollywood support game is NICE! Just look at how many "Folks" was on Chris' side from all genres. Tony has a right to be mad. His brother was assaulted on a worldwide stage. Albeit just a slap and people are acting like Will stabbed someone but to Tony that's his brother and he had a right to want to do something to Will. On the flipside Will has obvious issues that are rooted somewhere. Whether it's because of his wife and his public humiliation or something else does not matter. He is definitely a man that had issues and if you love your wife anyone is vulnerable to being emotionally hurt to the same extent Will is still going through. We want freedom of speech but no consequences. Every action has a reaction be it equal or unequal. Of course it could have been dealt with better from both sides but it hasn't and therefore consequences are a result whether the consequences are equal to the action or not.

I was and still pissed at the comedians that defended Will, like Haddish. Plus just like everything on the internet it just gave the trolls that don't like Rock to get their comments out there and get clicks. Also, he is RIGHT, if you 'cancelled' why do folks continue to talk about you and put spotlight on you, you suppose to "not be relevant" but yet you are.

tony ya bro been on will smith ass for years , i ve seen shows interviews all that where he just goes in on will. everyone is accountable for what they say .... thats some man stuff. i dont agree with what he did but you cant use comedy as a shield either...it is what it is your own brother said it. you can say what you want but have to deal with consequences ....Chris said that and im one who ranks chris rock as the most prolific and modern day voices in comedy ..... first in the door for anything he does ....im watching EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS RIGHT NOW ....

It Will had assaulted someone white trust me it would have been a different outcome. Sometimes people aid whoever they are closest to even if they are wrong. So if Denzel’s relationship is with Will vs. Chris. He was aiding a friend who obviously lost his mind.

Didnt think it was possible to be less funny than Crish Rock, bang, his brother beomes known to me lol maybe will smith can have an irrelevant brother to slap tony Also I dont think people took Wills side at the show, I think people that knew him knew he was the one that needed help bc he was obviouslt behaving wrong and seemed unstable.. Chris handled himself and seemed ok, especially considering what happened.

From the beginning, why is the talk about the reaction (slap)? How would you defend your wife/husband? How can anyone judge on what a spouse does to defend their family? So comedians are off limits huh, they can say whatever joke they want and not be held accountable. It’s limits to everything. Guaranteed, if Will would have never responded, he would have been shamed and humiliated for not standing up for his wife. Dam if Will does or doesn’t. He was in a lose lose situation regardless. What would you do to defend your spouse???? So after you are honest with yourself and know how you will defend yours, and everyone is judging and harassing you then you say, “mind your business”! We have to get better!😊
