Tony sly was human like all of us- but unlike most of us he had a gift of composing music that speaks to the deepest parts of our souls. If you are able to listen to the lyrics of this song and put it together with what he says in the end of performing it live, “ that song always brings me down a little bit” it’s quite easy to understand that this lone man was struggling with making sense of the wonders of life and with dealing wiTh his own weaknesses and frustrations of life . Listen to sad bear and all it’s songs and it’s clear he was trying to make sense of it all like we all do- but I personally believe that he didn’t possess the necessary foundation that brings it all together. My heart feels for him and his family. Truly a great songwriter. I wish I could have known him better. I will always honor him for his contribution to our world with how he spoke with such lyrical genius.

Going through a divorce (among other issues) and have a daughter myself, it's hard not to get choked up listening to this song. I know I got personal, but there's others that relate and to the others, "If you're able to go on another day, consider yourself lucky, don't change".
