Assuming Kevin Feige changes his mind and makes the decision to make RDJ's Doom a variant of Tony Stark that just calls himself Doctor Doom due to his past circumstances, I really hope they don't try to make his Doom funny by any means. I really hope Marvel lets RDJ show the serious side of his acting chops that got him the Oscar in the first place, I hope they let Doom a serious threat to the multiverse because of who he is and not because he just so happens to look like Tony Stark.

People have asked, "But what about Howard's words to Tony and that time they met close to Tony's birth?" As terrible as it sounds, it is technically possible that his mother miscarried, and they secretly adopted a baby born the same day, so as to not make the tragedy public. This would turn everything around, give there a reason for Doom to look like Tony, and have heroes start to connect the dots that Tony did have some tendencies at times, but fought through. Peter meeting RDJ Doom is a highly anticipated moment for me.
