I don’t know the hats, that’s a sabian hh 18” I think med thin crash. Aax freq crash 18” (modded) 22” hhx Phoenix ride. I think the stack is a Sabian “low Max stack”

I guess I don't understand that whole overplaying stuff. Instead of following the music, it's like he is thinking ' ok, time to show off what I can do'. I'm sure you have feel, but it's not shown here. A large number of drummers can show off fast triplets.. and it has been done to ad-nauseam

I don’t care what you say all gospel drummers sound the same. Same chops, same fills, you’re dead if you don’t believe so. The only ones that are different are the ones that’s gotten to play for major artist and have really perfected their craft and had major growth. But like I said all these young cats in the church sound exactly like him
