The show is inaccurate inasmuch as Tony still has a job. My experience is that the frank and fearless get moved sideways for not being sufficiently 'responsive to the Minister's office'. Rhonda would get frustrated with Tony and force him out.

The reason they don't fire Tony is that despite his continuous objections to their ideas, he is still always there to take the fall and accept blame for all the government's white elephants. Plus, they know that he is damn good at his job and gives the appearance that the government is doing their due diligence in launching every project.

Theres far too many Rhondas in government orgs, including where I work. I just really struggle to watch without wanting to cry and dislike Rhonda so much (great work by the actress) I really wish there was some kind of ptsd mental health therapy available to everyone working in govt. Normal people have no idea how true this is and what we Tonys of the world have to endure.

Government jobs but private companies where the owner gets brainwashed by a non realistic CEO of a twit that he trusts, who promises wonders but produces peanuts. I had one in one of my old companies who divided the workers and led the company close to bankruptcy. The funny thing is everyone in the team found out what the narcissistic CEO’s main mission was with the exception of the owner.

The Tasmanian footy stadium. A$700,000,000. Agreed with the AFL. I decided to review all the other footy stadiums. You get past the first three, some of which are heritage listed. Basically I got bored reviewing 25,000 seater stadiums with grassy knolls three sides. TV cameras on one of them to look like it's only got two grassy knolls. In broad terms A$50,000 stadia. And thats being generous. But Tasmania needs a 700 million stadium for its limited population.

I know someone who used to work for a govt minister he was able to finish his entire days work in about 15 to 20 minutes and literally spent his entire day killing time to knock off he was a reasonably senior member of department with direct access to the minister. He confirmed that a lot of what goes on is realistic and factual,he finally left after his job became to politically correct to continue working there with people playing the system upwards overreaching their levels of incompetence to stella levels as distressing as utopia is it barely scratches the surface of what goes on
