Tony and Deeks said the same thing at the beginning of their relationship, that she (Ziva, Kensi) wasn't his type and they were both wrong. In Tiva's case, Tony needed some time to understand it, and in Densi's case - Kensi immediately corrected him, which G and Sam heard.

@@TrishaSheerinIrish Deeks and Kensi actually had the relationship on NCIS LA that was only ever hinted at with Tiva, Densi had the same sort of dynamic as Tiva in the early seasons but were fully committed by mid s6 started to live together in s7 were married in S10 adopted a child in S13 after a couple of seasons of fertility issues and conceived a child in the series finale S14, Densi had the full rounded relationship that Tiva really only ever hinted at, even in the episode when Ziva apparently dies and Tarli is brought to Tony; Ziva never told Tony they'd had a child together, Tony admits he loved Ziva but he still was unsure how Ziva felt about him and it took Abby to tell Tony how Ziva really felt about him because Abby told Tony Ziva had told her how she really felt about Tony so Tivas relationship was always speculation until Tony and Ziva were in Israel when Ziva stayed and left the show
