I agree when it comes to you get what you pay for and that is one thing most people don't realize with harley's,parts,etc.Most people who bash Harleys never rode one or can't afford one.

I have one on my fat Bob. Looks great. 2 problems. In UK I need to carry my waterproofs! They only just fit in and no room for tools,locks or even phone. Also, the holes you don't use on the back of the bag let in water badly, which pools at the bottom, about 2-3" of water you need to sponge out and then prop the bag open to breathe dry. Also difficult when washing the bike. Sadly, I will swap it for something more practical.

That looks really sweet, and exactly what I'm looking for. Just brought home a 2018 Fat Bob yesterday, and this will be perfect to hold my insurance info, wallet, cell phone, etc. Too bad they don't make one that fits the other side, as when I change out my exhaust I'll have room on the other side for an identical bag but this bag only fits on the left. But, maybe I only need one anywho. Nice review, thanks!

Man thanks for posting this! Sounds silly, but I’m at my local HD while they’re having an event today (Saturday) so of course it’s crazy busy. Got the same bag and I’m outside struggling with the damn straps not knowing if the buckle assembly went on the outside or inside of the bag....till I saw this video and now I don’t have to turn in my DUFUS CARD 🤣🤣

I love mine for my 2020 street bob. I've only had it a few weeks. One question I have is how it will deal with getting wet (rain, wash). Would you suggest removing it to wash it? Seems like a hassle.

I just wash it with it on. Just try not to blast it straight on with water.

HI Tony Like your vlogs I put the Brown distressed version. on my 19 slim. Oddly it doesnt have the quick disconnect straps like the black version. it holds good though. just enough room for my hat , gloves and go pro accy case. be safe! Randytbird

I just put a swingarm bag on my 2020 Street Bob, but I feel like the bike rides strange. Do you notice the handling being different from adding weight on that side?

Not really, I think they suggest no more than 5 lbs.

I put one on my new 2022 Street Bob. Sadly in the rain this bag fills with water. Be aware everything you put in it will get soaked. The Harley Dealership has said this bag is NOT waterproof.

I ended up using zip ties. Easier to use/install and work just as good on a 2009 Softail Custom. Also I used black duck tape instead of that stupid tape.

I have a 2019 Softail Slim, I thought about that bag, however I think you run the risk of having those straps get caught-up in either the drive wheel or the Kevlar belt ?

They strap up in the bag so no loose end on the outside. I haven’t had a problem so far. Ride safe!

Great looking bike tony. Your reviews helped me decide to buy and pick up a wicked red 2018 FLSL. Funny i had the same top 5 things i didnt like. But overall its an amazing bike. I also used to have a willie&max sidebag on my sporty. How are you liking the HD bag so far? Looks amazing. Is it holding up ok? Cool about paint protectors.

Should’ve purchased an American made bag...I personally don’t like those Chinese made bags that HD sells.
