Tony, my LB02A has a -40 microvolt offset on its mV range and a similar offset on volts. Do you (or anyone else) know how to trim this?

Hi Ray, that is a good question.. i will Pin it here so it will show in the top. so if someone knows i hope he/she leaves a comment.

I also have this one. Well designed case and no plastic feeling. A funny thing is that when using the resistor function in the 20-40 ohm range, my UT61E goes absolutely bananas trying to measure the LB02 resistance. My other multimeters, including the Siglent SDM3045X, measures this without any problems (in fact the 20-100 ohm range is "spot on"). Also the UT61E with an "normal" resistor between 20-40 ohms, works fine too. Perhaps I need to involve a scope in the circuit and look for the reason of the strange behaviour on the UT61E.

Yes surprizingly good, i agree.... about the resistor mode, i tried that with the newer UNI-T 161E .. that worked fine.. Video #210

I've been looking at these things recently for work, to do trouble shooting and adjusting. I want to simulate actors as well as sensors and to steer electric actuators that require analog signals to function. I'm stuck between the LB06 and the MR9270S+, as sometimes some MODBUS equipment has to be set up and for pre checking such devices these handhelds can come in quite handy.

For calibrating and testing with 4-20 mA we need 2 options: 1) Source. That provides power for the loop; 2) Simulative. Mimics the signal without providing power. And if I understand, LB02A doesn't have a Simulative (mimic) mode. Am I correct?

Tony, wanted to know How accurate this LB-02 was... so, got TWO of them, to test against each other, following the typical government advice of : why buy one, when you can get Two for twice the price.. the idea was to Test the dc voltage DIFFERENCES between the these TWO LB-02, if using the same multimeter and same wires, etc etc. total i used 7 multimeters, from usd 50 to usd 400, ( no flukes, mine are all china brands ), and consistently came to conclusion that the LB-02 was only accurate to certain point. typically differences of + / - 2 mV is common from any test voltage of 0.100 vdc to 11.00 vdc. yes, could not get LB 02a, quick enuff or cheap enough...
