Maaaaaan. Im sorry for fumblin the names. The names in this movie were eating me ALIVE. Lmao. I shoulda just referred to the Harkkonen’s as the Bald Heads. 😂😂
@LaTericeallover3 жыл бұрын
It was the Emperor of the galaxy (that’s only spoken about in this movie) that set Atreides up because they were too powerful. He pulled the bald dudes out the spice game just to piss them off and start the war. I remember the 1st Dune being hella weird with but it had more of the whole story. So I hope they film the 2nd part and a 3rd part at the same time cuse they got a lot of ground to cover.

To answer your last question: I live in Portland, OR which is like the wet rainy world. I visited Wadi Rum (Jordan) in 2019 where they filmed Dune. It's a pretty magical place. I didn't see any sand worms there. I got farted on by a camel though. Portland doesn't have sand worms either, but we have a lot of tweakers that will steal your catalytic converter to buy meth. So between the two I would choose Geidi Prime where you can go to a day spa and soak in a vat of balsamic dressing while one of the little alien kids from Close Encounters installs a heart plug on you. That's my final answer. Your reviews are the best!

One point of correction. House Atredes was gifted the Arrackus planet by the Emperor bc he wanted to kill their entire family line. The Emperor sees House Atredes as a threat and he is using the Harkkonens/Sardukhans to kill House Atredes. It's politics as usual but there is definitely an esoteric meaning to the movie.
