A few months back the Nike line up was so stacked for 2025 that the bred high 85 for $250 was something that many of us were willing to overlook. Nike is not stupid... They called an audible and won't play out their grail show. All those pairs we thought they had, they still do. They would rather destroy them and bring their stock back up rather than watering down the brand. In the end we always want what we can't have, and Nike is pretty damb good at playing that game.
