Good video¡¡¡ Mr.Eisenhower the Coil of my EXCALIBUR II, the cable is damaged, all the cable is broken up near the coil, I want to buy a coil not so big that is compatible for the Excalibur II, I want to ask your opinion about which coil I recommend to buy on ebay .thank you very much for your kindness.
@TonyEisenhower5 жыл бұрын
Hi Joe, thanks for watching. A lot of guys use the NEL Tornado. It’s a little bigger but close to the same weight. I can replace the cable on your stock coil for a lot less money. Email me if you’re interested.

Seems like that new coil is sending you a little deeper then the other one...... sometimes good sometimes not so much....... depends on whats in the hole!
@TonyEisenhower9 жыл бұрын
I think yer right, I'm pretty sure it's going deeper. I have a friend who is having the same NEL coil installed on his Excal. I'll put my WOT back on and we'll go out and do some real world comparison. Maybe next month. I'll make sure I get a good vid.

Hi budy would that coil work on the garret ace 400i and would it be good on pasture ground in the UK
@TonyEisenhower6 жыл бұрын
Hey bud. I know the Minelab coil isn’t going to work on the Garrett but NEL does make an attack coil for the 400. I have the NEL Thunder on my ATP and love it. Whether or not it will work well on pastures in jolly ol, I have no idea😃

That is one fancy coil you got there! Why is this one better than the stock coil?
@johnharvey19549 жыл бұрын

but a larger coil means less sensitivity for smaller objects right?
@TonyEisenhower9 жыл бұрын
Hey Stefan. I haven't noticed that to be true with this detector and the 3 coils i own for it. But it's kinda hard to know for sure unless you have two detectors to compare against each other.

how did you match up the wires when hardwiring ? I can't find any schematics online. thanks!
@TonyEisenhower8 жыл бұрын
A really good question buddy. There is no coding on the NEL cable so it's not possible to produce a wiring diagram. PM or email me and I'll give you step by instruction on how to wire an Attack coil to your Excal. .

Good morning, does anyone know if the cors striker coil is worth the money? I just got mine and hope to use it this weekend. I also use an etrac, so would anyone suggest its as good or better than the stock? any insight would be great :)
@TonyEisenhower8 жыл бұрын
Couldn't tell ya but I'm interested in knowing how ya like it:)
@jaredj.69158 жыл бұрын
Well, here goes...I used this coil for about 12 hours total. Its not real good in comparision to the stock coil. I found quite a few things today but only at about 4-6 inches. The coil was a bit chatty at times. I did though take a bronze ring and bury it about 12 inches down and the coil picked it up just fine. the tones ring alot differently than the stock coil. I'm guessing the stock coil has something to do with the FBS. I will continue to use the coil as I need to use it a bit longer to give it a fail/fair asessment. It could be that the targets today were only 4-6 inches :) lucky me! I didnt have to dig so deep. I do have one complaint though...the coiled cable line....this stinks...I cannot slide up or down the etrac to put it in my car... and the cable HAS to go into the schaft in order to connect to the base...This needs to be seriously improved as tugging on the cord to open and close the shaft cannot be good. I will let you know more after a few videos which I will try to make the next couple of weeks ;)

I watched a video from England a while back where he put a piece of cat hair..he called it, over the mic and it illiminated the very strong wind noise he had. Kinda looked like the stuffing from a throw pillow. Maybe just a cotton ball would work also.
