I think the whole “ You’ll know the one when you know, you’ll feel it” keeps people single … people will be waiting their whole life for this so call feeling that most of the time may not even exist. A relationship is best where you WATER it … relationships are if your values align, you enjoy being around this person, and you can stomach their looks, you can make it work … it’s really that simple. People die alone everyday because they pass up on people that they could have made it work with but it didn’t match fairytale preferences they have in their heads.

@@oaklandsoldier8520 💯 Even the 1% guys aren’t getting married like they used to. Men are just wary of women. But few women ever ask WHY. Instead they draw conclusions to suit their narrative. I once proposed to a group of women to go halves on a first date and then ask later why the guy wanted to go halves. Even that was too much to bear for the women. Most guys would happily say why they don’t want to go on dates or even pay. And some of them have legitimate reasons based on their experiences. Many women aren’t even aware that if they LISTENED, they’d know the game and be married in no time if that’s what they want.

Men think they’re the prize at 40+ going after the 20 something woman but don’t realize that they don’t want you - why as a 20-year-old woman would I wanna be involved with an older man who then I’ll have to take care of when he’s older? Thanks, but no thanks

Women have always messed with older men because they have more to offer vs guys their own ages. They have resources to help you out and to pay for dates and trips.

I truly concur, I'm an older woman of 60 years old,who works for myself ,and these older men think they are all that and that $ means everything,do they realize that at our older age, most of us have seen it all, heard it all, not necessarily done it all, but God is always over $, and we want an organic relationship with a man, most of us at this age are grandma's 😂,been married and divorced, and are not trying to be sleeping around most times for what 15 minutes on a good night to go to Hell, like you said I fear God more than an empty relationship, and if I have to stay single and in God's Grace do be it, if rather be doing what I do,baking done sweet potato pies for someone less fortunate......love the commentary ❤❤😂😂

Why did none of y’all get married in earlier in life? Lol how is it all the black women in the comments are victims? None of y’all were using men huh? None of y’all were hoeing around instead of looking for a husband in YALL prime but now mad at men when they don’t want to get married lmaooo

Time goes by so fast i forgot im 40. When my friend is dating a 50 year old, i felt like 50 was old and I thought about my father. I was shocked she told me 50 is close to our age. 😆

Indeed, marriage is for big boys only. Grown men business. I thank God for my husband (he was 48 when I married him 6 years ago). Marriage has been a huge blessing for us.

It’s a marketing thing as well. Stay single, keep their women followers. Especially because some women really will think they are the one.

I’m 49, i got married at 22, was married 20yrs and been divorced 6yrs, i have to agree with a lot of what Tony is saying. i definitely believed God for my first wife and definitely believing God again for my next wife, im a firm believer like Samuel went to Jesse’s house, and saw Eliab, and said surely the lords anointed is before me, but God said that’s not it

Tbh I'll take advice from a widow or divorced man/women before I take advice from someone who never been mairred. It's no shade to the unmarried but it seems logical.

I was with a guy over 40 that was previously with a woman that had kids by an NFL player and received a lot of money in child support. The man is still obsessed with money and connections that he doesn’t have. The relationship was terrible because he was mentally stuck and nothing was ever good enough. He was never satisfied even though he made 6 figures.

The reality that hurts the hardest is that they don't love God. It's not just a weakness you just don't love God. Can't serve two masters.
