That had to be pretty rewarding to witness for Tony and Ian. Always cool to see lesser known Sabbath songs get different treatments and exposure.

She's Gone came out on the 1976 Technical Ecstasy album if you're thinking of Ian Gillian vs Ozzy.

Heard on the radio this is a “thanks” for Rock Aid Armenia. Great rendition of a rarely aired classic, and now finding out that Ian and Tony have continued to do so much for Armenia.

I've been gone a long long time, waiting for you I din't want to see you go, oh, no, no And now it's hurting so much, what can I do I wanted you to be my wife The days are passing slowly, since you've gone Your memories are all I have, yes I have I sit here waiting but you'll never show Without you I can't carry on, ooh my baby You said you'd always love me, all of my life And then you said your last goodbye, yeah, goodbye Why the sudden changes, why all of the lies I should have seen it in your eyes The endless hours of heartache, waiting for you My summer love has turned to rain, all the pain The silent emptiness of one sided love My life means nothing now you've gone, ooh my baby

I've been a long long time.. waitin' for you Je t'ai attendu si longtemps I didn't want to see you go.. Je n'ai pas voulu te voir partir, ohh que non And now it's hurting so much, what can I do ? Et maintenant ça me fait si mal, que puis je faire ? I wanted you to be my wife je voulais que tu deviennes ma femme The days are passing slowly, since you've gone Les jours passent lentement, depuis que vous êtes partie Your memories are all I have, yes I have Mes souvenirs de toi, sont tout ce que j'ai.. I sit here waiting but you'll never show Assis ici, à t'attendre, sachant que tu ne reviendras jamais.. Without you I can't carry on, ooh my baby Sans toi je ne peux pas continuer.. You said you'd always love me, all of my life Tu m'avais dit que tu m'aimerais toujours, toute ma vie And then you said your last goodbye, yeah goodbye Et puis tu as dit ton dernier au revoir Why the sudden changes, why all of the lies ? Pourquoi ce changement soudain, pourquoi tous ces mensonges ? I should have seen it in your eyes J'aurais du l'avoir vu dans tes yeux The endless hours of heartache, waitin' for you Des heures sans fin à t'attendre My summer love has turned to rain, ohh the pain Mon amour d'été s'est changé en une triste pluie , ohh ça fait mal.. The silent emptiness of one sided love Le vide Silencieux d'un amour à sens unique My life means nothing now you've gone, ooh my baby Ma vie ne signifie plus rien maintenant que tu es partie Great song from Technical Ectasy

love this song but that is a bad opinion
@alexkx8599Ай бұрын
@@InCompet4nt Lol. Thank God I can have it, lol. This was the closest I have heard John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne come to sounding like Robert Plant on the studio recording. Not that that's important but true none the less. It is chilling to hear and VERY hauntingly beautiful!!

Very cool, though considering this was done with Ian Gillan witnessing as well as Tony Iommi, it would've been more fitting to hear something off of the Born Again album. Perhaps the title track or Keep It Warm could've worked very beautifully in this style.

"Technical Ecstasy" and "Never Say Die!" are considered to be Black Sabbath's weakest albums. Maybe they were in terms of the power of their earlier works, but they were certainly their most creative. They proved to fans and critics alike that there was more to them than the simple riffs of "Paranoid".
