Great photos mate. My mother was from Thomastown (Pembroke St) and my grandfather was a miner at Coed-Ely. My great-grandfather worked there too. Lots of happy memories spending time there in the long summers of childhood days. Still remember sliding down the "mountain" (slight exaggeration) on cardboard, the Rocks and the sweet shop at the end of the street selling halfpenny sweets. Happy Days.
