My first saga playthrough has a pack of this size, and combined with how bold my pups ended up I dont think they ever got to full health after young hunters. And the pack was primarily hunting mule deer! (edited spelling)

Same, I kept woofing at them to back off but they just wouldn’t stop attacking! I lot a lot of territory as well because all the other packs outnumbered us

Lol😂 crow's little victory bounce to the carcass at the end was awsome. Yep pups at this stage are stressful and having a carcass or 2 around is super helpful for situations like this

Man, having now played some of the saga myself I can very much relate to the stress in this episode x'] Started with 7 pups, ended with 4 (two lost to unknown fates, one to sickness/starvation in Growing Pups), but the real stress was during Young Hunters on several occasions of us having to fight huge stranger wolf attacks or hex invasions. Including twice that we got wolf attacks *during* a hunt!! Right before finishing the quest we actually tried to fight off a hex invasion of like... 9 wolves, and one of my pups actually died to it which made me reload the save lol. Even on reloading we ended up having to flee the fight with pups down to like 16% health so hhhh. Extremely stressful!!! I'm going to be starting on my wolf's third litter (second in the saga) soon, and I'm excited to have yearlings this time, I'm hoping it'll make life a bit calmer haha

Territory swap so real, I got to do that. Thankfully I killed the packs leaders so it's dying anyway and they aren't very prone to fight back. I also have 5 pups(did 6, but she died to the unknown cause. I didn't even get that achievement, so I'm very salty, and so Adimir is taking his frustration out on a defenceless pack).
