Your comida looked epic! But truthfully, Curt - you did SO well cinematographically, capturing all the various shades of blue-turquoise-silver-white in the glacier. What an unforgettable experience. And Snow - lookin' good, girl!

How amazing to walk on something remaining from the Ice Age!!! I, however, have the fear a crevasse would open up as I was walking, and I would fall in it! Very scary! That’s why there are people like you, Curt, who brave it and film the experience! Right On!👍🏻

An extraordinary and magnificent beauty can only be created by a super almighty powerful creator, God, the creator . It doesn’t matter what mentality or faith or philosophical thought you have, the conclusion goes back to God. And I’m glad you felt so meek and little in front of a wonderful beauty like this, because I would be in my knees admiring this part of His creation. Your lives have become richer and fulfilled.

OMG, I had to fast forward and skip most of the glacier hike. This was THE most terrifying video you've ever made. Watching you step beside and over crevasses, and watching the guide "walk on water," I couldn't even stand it - I was screaming. And then you put the scary horror movie music in the background. Gorgeous scenery, but to know that all of you people were actually standing onthe brink of death was too much abject terror. 🥶

Forty-nine times the Bible mentions a perfect, pure blue, a color so magnificent and transcendent that it was all but impossible to describe. Yet, for most of the last 2,000 years, nobody has known exactly what “biblical blue” - called tekhelet in Hebrew - actually looked like or how it could be re-created. I think Blue is God's favorite color❤

👍🤩💝Since I researched it, I felt like sharing this info. I’m such a nerd.😂😆 💡Glacier ice is blue because the red (long wavelengths) part of white light is absorbed by ice and the blue (short wavelengths) light is transmitted and scattered. The longer the path light travels in ice, the more blue it appears. 💡Blue is the color of pure glacier ice, compact with few air bubbles, since the air is squeezed out from the weight of the ice. Pure ice has the properties of minerals. Like sapphires, glacial ice reflects the blue colors of the light spectrum, so beautiful blue color reaches our eyes. 💡When ice crystals in a glacier get compressed beneath its own weight for hundreds of years or even more, the air inside them bubbles out. In the process, the ice crystals enlarge, creating blue ice. Often, you see a large expanse of glistening, transparent and crystalline ice resembling a deep blue quartz crystal. 💡When the iceberg is underwater, the air bubbles are squeezed out and washed away. Then, when light encounters the dense, compressed ice, much of the light penetrates it. The ice absorbs longer wavelengths of colors, such as red and yellow. Colors of shorter wavelengths, like green and blue, reflect the light.
