If boy is the reincarnation of an oracle and D is trying to coax it out of him that is an event that would shake the entire setting of wod because an oracle is about equivalent to an antediluvian as I understand it so if D wants “settle” for the 3 generation that could be a way to do it. Not to mention boy being the most powerful being we see in the series would be incredible.

My personal theory, as I have outlined on Qosmic's video, is that D isn't actually immortal. Rather, I think D is a Mage or sorcerer who keeps reincarnating into his own family or otherwise manages to impart his knowledge and wisdom onto his descendants in such a way that he might as well be reincarnating; D does talk about how he is built different and has a giant brain after all. My reasoning? Well beyond the previous statements, D is very family oriented and fond of his children. However, he hyper-fixates on Boy and is seemingly trying to raise him more than his own adult sons. And when you strip away the obvious differences in age, experience and upbringing, Boy is the spitting image of D, from his dark hair, bright eyes, fondness for the color orange paralleling D's love of yellow(Boy even wears a bright yellow raincoat in the Horse epusode and in the last episode he wore an umbrella hat just like D's in the Horse episode), his bizarre level of talent with a weapon(guns as opposed to D and his swords), his surprising insight and understanding of the supernatural world he's just been introduced to, his empathy towards the tragedy of the vampiric condition, his ability to understand Horse, and of course his ability to knock back drinks like a competitive alcoholic despite only being 11. Seriously, a brick shithouse like Brock could barely handle 5 pints of applejack, while boy managed to down a good portion of a bottle of absinthe and only get mildly tipsy, which is apparently something he's done before as Door lectures him about having 'stiff drinks before bed'. Needless to say, he's D as a kid, and I think D recognizes that Boy is next in to succeed him.

as i remember, being a were-something is something you are born with, not received or impose (like how vampire are basically a STD that make you immortal). In the detail, a werewolf must either reproduce naturally with a human or a wolf. They can assume the form of both for practical reasons... 2 werewolves making a baby is possible, but the child's body is usually unable to contain the pure undiluted strengt of 2 warrior of Gaia. meaning 95-99% death rate on new born and an abomination of an offsping if he survive.

@@Northbravo Caine is the strongest by virtue of being the original vampire that the 13 Clans are descended from. Plus he has the Mark of Caine from the Abrahamic God, so not only was he immortal even before he became a vampire, but he's also technically invulnerable and unkillable until God decides to end his punishment at the End of Days. The Second Generation were the Childer of Caine, and in most sources there's only 3 of them, although some sources say that there were a few other members of the Second Generation, like the founders of Clan Ravnos, Clan Gangrel, and the Banu Haqim/Clan Assamite, although the details of how they were sired are somewhat apocryphal. The Third Generation were the Childer of the Second Generation, obviously, and it's generally accepted that about half of the Third Generation are technically Second Generation vampires through the Diablerie of the Second Generation, as that would have either lowered their Generation to two outright or put them in a weird intergenerational gap as the power of the Second Generation was split between multiple vampires. While the term 'Antediluvian' technically applies to ANY vampire that survived the Great Flood, it generally applies to the Third Generation, and calling them demigods is a bit of an understatement. Why? Well, vampires get more powerful as they mature, master their powers and consume more blood, and the rate of growth increases exponentially the lower a vampire's Generation is. To give you an idea of how strong the Antediluvians are, the Eldest, a Third Generation vampire and the founder of Clan Tzimisce, has a discipline called Vicissitude. One of the Apocalypse scenarios for World of Darkness is the Eldest deciding he's had enough fooling around and using Vicissitude to activate a disease based on his own DNA that he's spent thousands of years spreading through all life on the planet. Virtually all terrestrial life on Earth, including most of humanity, is infected with this virus, and the Eldest merely needs to raise a finger and every animal and human being on the planet will come running to his home in the Carpathian mountains to feed themselves to the Eldest so he can achieve Apotheosis, and the only canonical way the Eldest loses in that scenario is God Himself personally wiping him from existence. Another Third Generation vampire, Lasombra, knows about the Eldest's plans and has spent thousands of years roaming the world trying to kill himself to avoid that fate. His most recent attempt was trying to burn himself to death by submerging his body in the lava of an underwater volcano at the bottom of the ocean. The problem is that his Obtenebration, a discipline that lets him control shadows, is so ludicrously powerful that he's constantly wrapped in cloak of shadows that protects his body, and he can't turn it off no matter how many centuries he spends down there starving himself and sleeping away the ages. As for a supposed Second Generation vampire like the Ravnos Antediluvian? He went on a rampage called the Week of Nightmares after the psychic backlash of dozens and dozens of his descendants suddenly dying in a war with the Kuei-Jin woke him up. Every major faction in the World of Darkness tried to take down Ravnos, using magic nukes, space lasers, and even concentrating the power of the sun on Ravnos's face. The problem? Ravnos has Chimestry, a discipline that lets the user conjure illusions, and his mastery of Chimestry is so powerful that it alters reality and makes his illusions real; if he makes an illusion of someone where they don't exist, not only does it erase them, it also affects the memories of anyone aware of the illusion, making them forget that person ever existed in the first place. And even without Chemistry, Ravnos is still an Antediluvian with outrageous durability and regenerative powers, so much so that it took days of constant bombardment and exposure to sunlight to defeat Ravnos, and even then the jury is still out on whether or not he's actually dead or if he just faked his own death using Chimestry. Either way, the Week of Nightmares roused every other Antediluvian from their sleep, and it was considered one of the last major events before the Apocalypse. To go back to the Third Generation for a moment, Ventru, the founder of Clan Ventrue, is generally considered to have died for trying to defend the Second Generation from his siblings. The problem is that nobody actually knows who killed Ventru or how, and the Ventrue have access to Dominate, the ability to override the wills and minds of others, Presence, which grants supernatural charisma, and Fortitude, which can make the user virtually indestructible. In theory, Ventru should have been virtually unkillable, because no one could penetrate his Fortitude, and even if they could, he could either talk them down using Presence or force them to stop with Dominate. So the theory goes that Ventru never actually died, but instead used Dominate and Presence to convince everyone that he died and has been dead for thousands of years.

Vampire's can't actually use magic, becoming one kills the part of your soul that allows you to use it . They can use sorcery witch is a watered down version of magic that in theory everyone can use (though there version does often require vampire blood ) Hence the head guy of Kevin's clan was looking for a way around it (he didn't find it , he and his allies lost there magic)

For the record, the Wyld and the Weaver don't really do much to actively interfere with the world. The Wyld is a primal force of creation, chaos and life, and the Weaver is all about imposing stasis and order on whatever the Wyld creates, so while the Weaver is constantly trying to take control and make things logical and reasonable, it doesn't act overtly, while the Wyld is just in the background working on the next Platypus or the next iteration of the Common Cold without a care in the world. The Wyrm, however, is entropy, destruction, and death in every sense, from the heat death of the universe, the death of morality and reason, and just straight up death and oblivion, and exists to make sure that things must change and evolve or die and be rekoved to make way for something newer and better. The reason the Wyrm is the villain of Werewolf is because the Weaver became self-aware and got sick of having to keep up with the Wyld and the Wyrm constantly destroying everything it was working so hard to maintain, so it bound the Wyrm, which drove the Wyrm insane as it could no longer fulfill its purpose to destroy things. This caused the original, more moderate and sensible Wyrm to develop into three distinct aspects that could slip the Weaver's net, creating the so-called Triatic Wyrm. The first three 'heads' of the Triatic Wyrm are the Wyrm of Calamity, nicknamed the Beast-of-War, embodying the Wyrm's rage and mindless desire to destroy things without thought or reason. This aspect of rage is the closest to the Wyld and has actually manage to get a grip into the minds and souls of every Garou; every time a Garou gives into their Rage, they're corrupted by the Wyrm of Calamity just a bit more until they fall completely and become mindless rampaging beasts that'd kill the world for daring to exist. The second is the Wyrm of Consumption, called the Eater-of-Souls, which is the Wyrm's unchecked greed and unsustainable hunger to devour everything in Creation. This is the aspect of the Wyrm closest to the Weaver, as it seeks to unite everything inside of itself and reduce it to nothing, which is essentially the Weaver's fallback plan; piss the Wyrm off into destroying everything the Wyld has created, then there will be nothing left and thus perfect order and stasis. The Consumption Wyrm is also responsible for giving all vampires their never-ending, ever-growing thirst for blood, hence why the Garou hate vampires so much and consider them all tainted by the Wyrm; they're parasitic leeches and an ecological black hole that serves no purpose in the natural order. And the third is the Wyrm of Corruption, called the Defiler Wyrm, which is essentially the evil of the Wyrm that infects the world and wears away at its morality, ethics, and overall spiritual integrity. Essentially, this is the Wyrm's dark and intrusive thoughts made manifest, without the original Wyrm's sense of moderation and responsibility keeping it in check. The Defiler Wyrm enables all the other negative aspects of the Wyrm, and worse still, this is the force that corrupts people to falling to their rage, greed, and dark desires. That childish impulse you have to teabag someone in a video game? That's the Defiler Worm. That compulsion to try and be lazy and get out of work? That's the Defiler Wyrm. That part of your search history you deeply regret having but keep going back to because that's your kink? Thats the Defiler Wyrm through and through. And any one of the Triatic Wyrms managing to get loose at their full strength is an apocalyptic disaster of untold proportions. If all 3 got loose at once? Nothing short of God Himself could stop them, because it's kind of hard to kill Death, even if you're only fighting one of its split personalities.

Airier, I think you're forgetting how strong the Blood Bond is. Kevin explained how it twists your mind and how even wanting to go against it is a Herculean struggle. Chapman has killed people, with his teeth no less, out of devotion to the Regent, and he doesn't want to break free from the Blood Bond because he is, in his own words, a hopeless addict that enjoys the perks of being a ghoul. He even says flat out that he's willing to die just to try and get some of Kevin's blood to get his fix, and he's only on board as much as he is because the Regent hasn't renewed the Blood Bond in months and he's going through withdrawal and believes Kevin is a viable substitute. That isn't being easily bribable. That's being an addict being given a better offer by their dealer's kid. And because of the Blood Bond, Chapman will happily risk his own life for another taste of Kevin's blood.

YES! There are spider werebeasts! The Ananasi! They can turn into a massive swarm of tiny spiders! And if only a single one of them survives they can regenerate! They are also not associated with the Wyld, like every other werebeast, but the Weaver, and they aren't really trusted because of that. For good reason, because they are terrifying. Also, they do not get their powers from their rage, like other werebeasts, BUT FROM BLOOD, LIKE VAMPIRES.

Kitten cannot be a vampire. While we havent seen him walk in broad daylight. Even with heavy clothes on his back and a heavy cloud above his head, a vampire would start taking aggravated damages over time (probably slower however). To walk in the sun they need a sealed environment like a coffin or a cosmonaut suit with a screen transmitting whats in front of him. Hell, the Darth Vader suit might be too light to do the jobb. The term the mage/technocrat use to refer to non-awakened magic is "static". It is not related to paradox effect because their brand of magic have been present alongside humanity since their begining; human were cattle in the vampire first and second city, werewolf were hunting them to limit their population in the earliest age, wraith power have existed simce the firt human died violently or with unfinished business... Even if moderm human do not believe supernatural stuff exist, they once did and somewhere in a very deep and ancient corner of humanity psyche, they never forgot why they, to this day, fear the night. ... and that is why when a mage transform into a bat and is seen by a human, the universe arbiter bitchslap him back into the goddamn dirt, but give a thumb up when a vampire does it in front of a human. Non-mage people have some long standing diplomatic immunity, mages better have a good reason as to why reality should just bend to their will. hmmm, the hunter from 3rd edition did take their power from angels so... maybe Elohim refer to them. The hunter reckonning corebook mention that in ancient time, god gave human power to defend themselves against creature of the night. Humans started to abuse said power (as humans do) and god just took his toys back and went on his way. New hunters got power cause angels (loyal one, not fallen one) came back around, saw the sad state of the earth and gave like diet hunter power to try to... balance things out. Then again this is old lore by now, dunno if thats still relevant.

Garou specifically refers to werewolves and some wolf-adjacent Changing Breeds like weredogs or werethylacines(don't ask). Non-werewolf Changing Breeds are referred to as The Ferra and includes werebears, weresharks, werebirds, werereptiles, and even wereinsects. On a side note, werehyenas, werecoyotes, and werefoxes are NOT actually offshoots of the Garou but are instead Ferra. To illustrate my point, the werewolves are one of Gaia's later creations, thus they can only breed with humans and wolves or any canine directly descended from wolves. Werehyenas, conversely, were essentially Africa's equivalent to the werewolves, because the Garou got their start in Europe and there apparently weren't any wolves in Africa at the time, so Gaia just made werehyenas instead. Werecoyotes, on the other hand, were created specifically to be tricksters and teach the other Changing Breeds through jokes and pranks. And werefoxes were supposedly created last to hide and wait out the Apocalypse so they pick up the pieces and start over now that the World of Darkness is seemingly in a death-spiral with no hope of recovery.

Remold Blacklaw is the head of the blacklaw family, Occam is a member of that family and as he and D are still married, this would mean that Remold has the best claim to being patriarch of anyone in the current cast. So about D's age let me tell you a story. The Game of Ur, also known as The Royal Game Of Ur, is a board game that existed around 2500 BCE. We can assume that D is not that into modern technology or computers. His main weapon when hunting Vampires is a big sword, after all. Door does not seem to complain because Door realises D is strong enough. Regardless; the fact that D mentioned The Game Of Ur when talking about more fair games (I think it is in the first Audiolog, with D and Kitten) on a whim in the early 2000s tells me 2 things. 1: Big D is well versed enough in archeology to know that the Royal Game Of Ur was a casual game. We literally do not have the full rules and the rules we do have are basically the snippets of "These are the rules if you want to bet on it." And/or 2: Big D is old enough to have played the game in ancient times.

I am personally see the series more in line with QosmicVoid along the lines of how the main cast should be seen more as regular humans fighting against the tide. While yes the characters are expys of TTS I prefer to keep the two series separate narratively. It is just my preference however.
